Kyle Busch kicked off a new chapter in his legendary NASCAR career with Richard Childress Racing by winning his 61st Cup Series race and his first with the team. Kyle recently made a huge admission about RCR’s potential following his career-altering move to the team.
“It was certainly a fast race car, felt really good from the very beginning. We worked on it all day long, to try and continue to improve it, make it better, and Man we sure did!”
“Yes and No. You know, the A-car was fast at the Clash last year. The Chevys have always been fast on superspeedways and so I expected to be quick there. And then, you know, ran way better than I thought actually with the backup car.”
“I’m excited for the prospects of the majority of the races that we’re gonna be able to go out there and continue what they’ve built on last year.”
