Alex Bowman missed Sunday’s Talladega Super Speedway race due to the concussion-like symptoms he suffered post the Texas crash. Bowman completed the race and not many thought that the wreck was serious. But there is one NASCAR member who saw this coming.
In the recent episode of Door Bumper Clear, NASCAR spotter Brett Griffin revealed that he was not surprised when Hendrick Motorsports revealed that Alex Bowman was suffering from a concussion. He said, “My reaction was – ‘not surprised!‘
Further, he explained, “No concussion was ruled because he did not have to go to the infield care center. He continued to race. I think we just saw with the Tua incident, with the Miami Dolphins that back-to-back concussions in a short amount of time can really mess you up.”
