Michale Jordan and Denny Hamlin joined hands back in 2020 to form the 23XI Racing NASCAR team. They signed one of the most promising racers, Bubba Wallace.

During his first meeting with Jordan, he was at the receiving end of some healthy banters, as the former NBA player made fun of his short height.

The debut of 23XI Racing

In the 2021 Daytona, Jordan, and Hamlin’s team, 23XI Racing made its debut. Along with Bubba Wallace, another legendary driver, Kurt Busch represented Jordan’s team. Since then, they have come a long way, as they signed some more talented drivers like Tyler Reddick and Kamui Kobayashi.

Jordan trolled Wallace with a cheeky remark

Before making their debut, Jordan, Hamlin and Wallace sat down with Michael Strahan of Fox. Strahan asked about being in control. In response, Wallace said, “At the end of the day they’re [MJ and Hamlin] ultimately in control because they’re the ones who are signing them checks.” Jordan replied by saying, “The thing is, we don’t sign checks to losers.”
