With two race wins, 15 top-5 finishes, and a memorable video game-like wall-riding move, the Trackhouse Racing driver showed everyone that he is here to win it making him an eligible candidate to replace Harvick.
“We’ve made (Trackhouse Racing) a home, I think. That’s how it feels for me. We’re not ready to announce anything but I’m confident in the group that’s been confident with me.”
“It’s everything I have ever wanted. I mean, I’ve looked up to (Kevin Harvick) for as long as I can remember. It’s absolutely incredible to even be talked about in the same room as him here at a media day…but I’m pretty happy where I’m at (with Trackhouse Racing).”
Known as the Hail Melon move, Chastain displayed his presence of mind as he performed a video game-like wall-riding move that helped him make his way to the 2022 series finale.
