The NASCAR landscape is set for a shakeup in 2024, with Spire Motorsports at the forefront of some major changes.

Spire Motorsports has acquired Kyle Busch Motorsports, a successful team that produced championship-caliber drivers like William Byron, Christopher Bell, and Erik Jones. The deal includes the team's 77,000-square-foot shop near Charlotte, workforce, and heavy machinery. Spire Motorsports ambitions this year's biggest money games, with the acquisition estimated at a hefty $30 million.

Following the acquisition of Kyle Busch Motorsports, Spire plans to expand to a three-car team for next year's Cup Series campaign. This move comes after the team brought in Andretti Global Gainbridge Financial earlier this year and purchased another charter for $40 million.

Amidst these significant changes, rumors about former F1 champion Mario Andretti's possible entry into NASCAR are circulating.
