Weeks After Furious Altercation, NASCAR Driver Mourns the Tragic Loss of His Prized Possession
NASCAR
A few weeks back, NASCAR driver Landon Huffman got into a tussle with female driver Annabeth Barnes Crum at Hickory Motor Speedway. Later, Crum’s husband attacked Huffman’s father, which got him suspended.
Recently, another sad incident occurred at Hickory Motor Speedway, where Huffman lost a valued family possession.
The incident that took place two weeks back
Two weeks back, at Hickory Motor Speedway, Annabeth Barnes Crum tried to pin Huffman into the wall. Then, Huffman got back at Crum, as he did a bump and run. Crum’s husband, Jake punched Huffman’s father Robert. Notably, Jake was acting as Annabeth’s spotter without a license. Hence, NASCAR banned him until 2024.
The recent incident at Hickory Motor Speedway
Twitch content creator and sim racer Travis ‘Moonhead’ Brown recently partnered with Huffman Racing. He was driving the Huffman family’s prized possession, Frances, a modified car. Unfortunately, a broken throttle led to a massive crash, which ended Frances’ journey. Earlier, Huffman shared a picture on Twitter and wrote, “The Huffman Racing driving experience is officially over….”
After Huffman posted the news on Twitter, Brown tried to take the blame for Frances’ demise, as he said, “Just past the flagstand felt a pop on throttle, let off and she was wide open. Don’t really know other than that, looking at the throttle cable and air cleaner it didn’t hang there and there obviously haven’t been previous issues. Feels like I put too much pressure on the pedal.”
