Jeremy Sochan, who was selected ninth overall in the 2022 NBA Draught, excelled throughout his first campaign with the Spurs. Sochan shown he could hold his own in the NBA by averaging 11 points and 5.3 rebounds under Gregg Popovich's system, which limits the amount of time his rookies spend on the court. Sochan has gained enormous popularity for his multicoloured hair in addition to his on-court prowess, following in the footsteps of NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman.
In an interview with For The Win, Jeremy Sochan talked about teaming up with the No. 1 pick in this year’s draft, Victor Wembanyama. “I think it’s going to be scary.” Sochan said, putting the entire league on notice. He believes that players will have a tough time scoring against the young duo because of their size and defensive skills. “There is no need to pause after getting the defensive board.” Sochan added, pointing out their ability to run the floor as tall players.
