ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins found a missing piece in the star-studded Phoenix Suns roster. Even though the Suns have 3 superstars in their squad, Big Perk raised a major concern, “But who’s gonna be that guy that’s gonna bring that toughness, do all the little things, be able to hold his spot from the corner three?” With three ball-dominant superstars in the team, Perkins believes the 25-year-old guard Josh Okogie is the answer to all the questions. “I think he is the perfect fit for this starting 5.” said the former NBA Champion.
Okogie joined the Phoenix Suns last year after playing for Minnesota for four seasons and quickly established himself as a valuable reserve for the group. His actual potential will be seen while playing with superstars like KD, Book, and Beal, and he may become the team's go-to muckraker. Due to the lack of strong role players on the Suns, his involvement will be crucial to their success.
