The Golden State Warriors made headlines recently after news came out that Draymond Green was reportedly involved in a physical altercation. The Warriors forward struck fellow teammate Jordan Poole amidst a heated argument on October 5, 2022. The incident took place during the team’s practice session and both players had to be separated after the situation escalated.

back in 2020, Draymond Green was ejected from a 116-86 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers after picking up two technical fouls in the second quarter. Green was whistled for a foul under the basket with 5 minutes and 56 seconds left in the second quarter. He got his first technical after exchanging a few words with official Tyler Ford.

The tension between Green and former Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson reportedly started during the NBA season 2017-18 Finals. Thompson was benched during Game 1 against the Warriors in the 2018 NBA Finals. While Thompson was walking out of the court, he and Green had a minor exchange, after which Thompson threw the basketball in the latter’s face. Furthermore, the four-time NBA Champion indirectly called out to Thompson when he told the reporters that he could meet the former Cavaliers player any day in the streets.

back when The Golden State Warriors got the win in the Western Conference semifinals against the Memphis Grizzlies, Draymond Green was ejected for a flagrant 2 foul on Brandon Clarke in the 2nd quarter of the game. The referees decided the foul was a flagrant 2 and enough for an ejection, considering both the contact on the face and the pulling of the shirt to bring him down.
