Despite basketball being a sport that has never been confined to the NBA, many players from overseas have excelled in this sport. Following their retirement from the NBA, many Hall of Fame basketball players played foreign basketball for a few seasons. Dwight Howard

Earlier this month, Howard announced his new team via the official Instagram account: “Taiwan, this is Dwight Howard aka Superman,” he said. “I am so excited and I can’t wait to touch down in Taiwan and start playing for the Taoyuan City Leopards.”

A visit to Scandinavia in 2008 saw Pippen play two games for Finnish team Torpan Pojat and one for Swedish team Sundsvall

Allen Iverson

In 2010, Allen Iverson signed a two-year, four-million-dollar contract to play for Besiktas Cola Turka.

Rodman visited Finland in 2005. For Korisliiga's Torpan Pojat, he signed a one-game contract.

In 1998, he bought a team in Boras, Sweden, naming it Magic M7. Also, he played for the team from 1999 to 2000
