"Instead of Eating McDonald's..": 7ft NBA Legend Claims Michael Jordan Was Capable of Much More If Only He Took Care Of His Health

Highly regarded as the greatest, Michael Jordan was a phenom. A scoring prodigy, His Airness will go down as one of the biggest mismatches in NBA history. In addition, Jordan was no less effective on defense either. Playing lockdown defense, MJ achieved it all in his career.
A long list of accolades defines the career of one of the greatest ever to do it. Despite retiring twice, the Chicago Bulls legend won five MVPs, the second most in NBA history. Winning six championships and as many Finals MVPs, MJ led a dynasty. The hero of ‘The Last Dance’ won a DPOY all while being a perennial scoring champion. Many argue there is nothing more Jordan could have DONE.

However, an NBA veteran believes MJ didn’t offer all he had. Notably, Olden Polynice told Brandon Robinson how Jordan’s diet and inclination to cigars kept him from his true ceiling.
His Airness held nearly all there was to offer in his legendary career. The two-way expert ranks among the most lethal players to play the game. Looked upon as an almost godly figure, Michael Jordan asserted himself as arguably the greatest ever to grace the game.

However, Polynice had an odd take that may leave fans confused. Blaming Mcdonald’s and his addiction to cigars, the 14-season vet believes the legend of MJ could have been much more. Polynice told Robinson: “Can you imagine if this guy ate right instead of eating McDonald’s, did not drink and did not smoke? Can you imagine that Michael Jordan? And actually worked out on the regular?”

Michael Jordan does hold a special place for cigars. However, he never let his pleasures get the better of him on the basketball floor. His Airness was arguably still as effective as ever. Despite being obsessed with hooping, MJ had to tackle the Jordan rules. And that was only possible with severe physical workouts with Tim Grover.

MJ might have held back the opportunity of winning more championships by retiring. However, the Chicago Bulls icon never held back on hard work.
