LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Other NBA Stars Who Have Had the Honor of Visiting the White House Twice

In honor of their 2022 NBA championship win, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors went to the White House last Tuesday. With this championship, they claimed their fourth title in eight years. Previously, the Warriors visited the White House in 2016, after they won the 2015 championship. During Curry’s latest visit to the White House, he thanked the Biden administration for helping bring back WNBA star Brittney Griner. let's take a look at nba stars who have had the honor to visit the white house on multiple occasions.

Stephen Curry

The warriors players told reporters after the ceremony that the visit was "majestic." "I've been here now two times in total and every time it's just majestic. It kind of grounds you a little bit more in the values of what drives you on a daily basis in your kind of places," Curry said. In total, Curry has won four championships.

Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan declined to visit the White House in 1991, months after he led the Chicago Bulls to their first championship. In place of celebrating with President George H.W. Bush, Jordan decided to play golf.

LeBron James

With the Miami Heat, LeBron James won his first title in 2013. “We just want to thank you … for allowing us to be, I mean, in the White House. I mean, we’re in the White House. We’re kids from Chicago and Dallas, Texas and Michigan and Ohio and South Dakota, Miami and we’re in the White House right now. This is like, ‘Hey, Mama, I made it,'” LeBron had said during the visit.
