Shaq’s son chips in save Kobe Bryant and Gigi’s legacy

A few days back, Cecilia Moran, a gym owner from LA, took to her social media and raised her concern about the iconic mural. The art work features Kobe Bryant with angelic wings, donning the iconic #24 Lakers jersey and looking at his daughter Gigi. The artwork created by Louie Palsino has become a celebrated Mamba spot in LA. In the social media, Moran wrote, “With profound sadness, I must share that today, I received notice from my landlord that I must remove the Kobe and LA mural from our walls by September 30,” reported People.

Why does the landlord want to remove the mural?

In an interview with Los Angeles Times, Moran revealed that the landlord wanted to use the wall for advertising. However, she argued that the visitors of the mural would also pull in a lot of visitors to the place. Even the artist, Louie Palsino said, “people come from all around the world to visit so it’s good for him, his property, every party in this,” in the LA Times interview.
