Unable to Overcome 1 Weakness, Michael Jordan Once Seeked Out ‘Justice League’ Director for Help

NBA legend Michael Jordan gave his brief acting career the same kind of effort he gave his career in basketball. He starred in the 1990 film Playground, which came out a year before he captured his first title and six years before Space Jam. Internet archivists have just discovered a film reel from the film's production that reveals a whole different side to the six-time NBA champion. It offers a rare look at His Airness breaking a move for the camera.

When Michael Jordan needed $60 million worth Director

Playground, a forgettable 1990 short film by Zack Snyder, came before his work on the DC Extended Universe. The 40-minute direct-to-video film included a cast of sportsmen, including Michael Jordan, the standout player for the Chicago Bulls at the time. After pre-championship Jordan's work coaching kids and serving as a general role model, Snyder made his feature film debut. Snyder would remember Jordan as a natural in front of the camera when he was younger. In fact, Jordan was so dedicated to realising Zack's vision that he performed a little jig for the film. Fans' comments have been prompted by the video of His Airness practising the dance that has leaked.
