Following Bubba Wallace’s $1 Million fine and a one-race ban, the 23XI Racing driver posted a seemingly cryptic tweet. However, his boss and fellow driver, Denny Hamlin was quick to clarify that Wallace had no other intent to convey via his Tweet.
Hamlin stated, “I trust Bubba’s words. We had long conversations with him internally, and I think that he would do things differently, this is not just words and PR talk. This is Bubba. Nobody asked him to tweet that he took a bite out of a humble pie, you know.”
“That’s something that Bubba’s not had a lot of say, uh, you know those words in the past. I truly believe that he has learned the lesson, he would do things differently, uh, he’s young and it’s part of his growth.”
