THE FAMOUS FORUM CLUB

Magic Johnson reminisces about the forum club

Images of Magic Johnson partying at the Forum Club with well-known figures like Madonna, Michael Jackson, and Mike Tyson have recently reappeared, bringing back memories of the Lakers' heyday and the glitzy nightlife that once thrived there. In a recent interview with Breakbeat Media, Magic Johnson reflected about The Forum Club's heyday.

THE LEGACY OF THE FORUM CLUB

Magic compared it to the biggest nightclubs in other cities, increased by a million, and said it was a larger-than-life event. Hugh Hefner and his Playmates, Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, the Jacksons, and other well-known celebrities were all spotted there, according to him. The club was a gathering place for celebrities. No cameras, no Instagram, the podcast host said, to which Johnson responded, "Nothing, just life, just having fun."
