The Golden State Warriors dynasty is what it is now thanks in large part to the former Warriors general manager Bob Myers. Myers, however, left the organisation on June 30, putting Mike Dunleavy Jr. in charge of the franchise's destiny.
His first move as president was to trade Chris Paul, a 38-year-old veteran, for Jordan Poole, their most valued trade asset, who had just signed a four-year, $140 million deal. This was done in an effort to free up cap space.
In light of the event of Curry’s potential involvement in front office duties, NBA reporter Mark Medina in a conversation with GIVEMESPORT said, “What’s interesting with Steph is he certainly has a lot of conversations with the front office, but he’s more hands-off.”
Curry doesn't seem to care what the front office decides as long as he has a team that can win a championship together, choosing instead to trust that they will make the best choices for the organisation. Over the years, Curry has returned their trust in him by helping to build one of the NBA's greatest dynasties.
