Zion Williamson has had a tough offseason

The 2022–23 season got off to a great start for the New Orleans Pelicans. The Pelicans were unquestionably the top seed in the Western Conference by the second week of December 2022. In the league, Zion Williamson had guided his club to a dominant position. But in the start of 2023, it was revealed that the former Duke student had sustained yet another injury.

In his four years in the NBA, the 23-year-old has played in just 114 games due to a history of injuries. His injuries have been made worse by his off-court activities. Fans began to wonder about the Pelicans forward's future with the team because of all the commotion around him.

Zion Williamson isn’t going anywhere

In a recent interview during the NBA Summer League, Griffin was asked about the former No.1 draft pick’s relationship with the Pelicans. “I would say it’s as good as it’s ever been actually,” he replied.
