Diesel paying tribute to a legendary rap performer who was one of the finest solo performers of the 1990s is nothing out of the ordinary. The East Coast-West Coast rivalry was present while this great rapper was developing his art and seeing the 90s hip-hop culture firsthand.

Numerous famous personalities appear on stage for the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards, which attract a lot of media attention. Veteran rapper Busta Rhymes was given the "Lifetime Achievement Award" at the ceremony.

While receiving the Award, an emotional Rhymes said, “I’m gonna wear it on my sleeve, I do wanna cry”.For a long time, there was applause. Naturally, Shaquille O'Neal also contributed to the acclaim and told a tale about the clip of Rhymes accepting the trophy and then sobbing.
