Klay Thompson reacts to Lebron James’ blockbuster announcement



LeBron James startled the NBA world during the post-game news conference after the Denver Nuggets defeated his team in the Western Conference semifinals. After the defeat, the 38-year-old star expressed doubt about his ability to continue in the league.



However, he unexpectedly made a big announcement to reaffirm his participation in the future season months after the surprising news conference. On the most recent edition of Podcast P with Paul George, Klay Thompson talked about how amazed he was by James' longevity.  He said, “LeBron’s still here. I’m like it’s crazy.” Notably, James’ Lakers knocked the Warriors out in the Conference semis last season.

At the annual ESPY Awards, King James received the 'Best mark-Breaking Performance' honour for breaking the all-time scoring mark. While receiving the award, he surprised everyone with his comeback announcement. He said, “Can I play without cheating this game?’ The day I can’t give the game everything on the floor is the day I’ll be done. Lucky for you guys, that day is not today.”





His passionate delivery elicited wild applause from the crowd. He blew it with a surprise in style after planting doubts about his retirement in the minds of his admirers.
