A rollercoaster of emotions from joy to heartbreak

Kobe Bryant's death was a topic of conversation between Ernie Johnson and Frank Malloy at 13WMAZ. The storied NBA broadcaster brought everyone back to that historic day by stating, "It was so surreal."

He shared, “You know he passed that Sunday and I was driving home from North Carolina. I had been speaking at a church in North Carolina that day and I was having a great day because in attendance at that church service was my baseball coach when I was 10 years old. And his son is the pastor at this church and so we had this wonderful time that day“.
