Dwyane Wade throws shade at LeBron

LeBron James is preparing to make a comeback to the basketball court, and NBA fans are talking about a variety of things related to it. Along the way, Jay-Z sang about the two in an Instagram story that Dwyane Wade uploaded. Wade is a former NBA player who has seen LeBron James play up close and personal.

LeBron James has been involved in disputes before throughout his NBA career. NBA fans continue to debate whether LeBron James or Michael Jordan is the best player to ever play the sport. There is greater debate over whether James will be willing to play with the younger guys now that LeBron is returning.

Jay Z and the NBA go back a long way

In 2003, the song lyrics became viral. It was revealed in 2004 that Jay Z owned a portion of the Brooklyn Nets. In 2013, he eventually sold his interest. But Jay Z is always present when he can. Whenever he can, he makes it a point to see a Los Angeles Lakers game.

The prospect of Jeezy owning an NBA team, as Jay-Z did back in those days, is also discussed by several NBA and music enthusiasts. There hasn't been any evidence to yet, though, that Jeezy owns an NBA club. The fact that Dwyane utilised Jay-Z's lyrics in an Instagram story is not surprising given the rapper's relationship with the NBA.
