The New York team was destroyed by James Harden and company in four games of round one of the playoffs, sending them on an early vacation. A certain 76ers star, though, went a little too far in his celebration for The Beard's taste.
The third game of the Philadelphia 76ers' first-round playoff series against the Brooklyn Nets began on Thursday. They intended to build on their outstanding performance from the previous two games in their first away postseason game. They succeeded in their goal and won the third game, but Harden suffered a setback when he was dismissed for elbowing Royce O'Neal in the groyne during a play.
Tyrese maxey pokes the beard
The outstanding 22-year-old Tyrese Maxey chose to post a photo on Instagram to commemorate the 76ers' victory over the Nets. The kid cheekily added a photo of his senior James Harden's defeated expression after being disqualified in game 3 along with other pictures of their victory.
Maxey captioned the photo, "4 games 4 dubs! *Peep the last slide*" The final graphic showed Harden's sad face after being ejected. Harden called himself a "a**hole" in the comment area. Harden continued to say that the judgement was "unacceptable" following his dismissal in game three.
