Brittney Griner recently announced on Instagram that she planned to write a book on her time spent in detention in Russia. She also claimed that the book would raise Americans' awareness of "wrongful imprisonment abroad."
Cherelle’s revenge claim
Cherelle used an Instagram story to share her feelings towards Griner's trauma and suffering months after her wife had returned to her native country. The best retaliation is none, she wrote in a post she shared on her story. So that you don't end up like the traumatised folks, move on and heal. The agony Cherelle experienced over the course of those difficult 10 months is expressed in her story. Hopefully she finds comfort following the publication of Griner's book.
