Lakers Legend Kareem Abdul Jabbar Calls Out $100,000,000 Rich “Silly” Businessman for Calling Angel Reese a “Classless Piece of Sh*t”

The women's NCAA Championship Final will go down in history. Along with outstanding basketball, it also featured fierce competition and dramatic moments that dominated the news for the following several days. When LSU standout Angel Reese pointed her ring finger at Iowa State's Caitlin Clark towards the conclusion of the game, imitating the 'You can't C me' gesture, she sparked significant backlash. She was attacked by several media figures and talking heads who labelled her as "classless." The criticism of her, however, was immediately overtaken by a chorus of admirers who pointed out the dubious nature of the overreaction to Reese's seemingly innocent gesture.

SHAQ CALLED OUT THE DETRACTORS FIRST

Shaquille O'Neal was the one who initially called out the critics. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, another NBA icon, has since stepped in to help Angel Resse. The former NBA all-time leading scorer defended the 20-year-old star in a new Substack essay, calling out a $100 million celebrity for his insensitive "classless piece of sh*t" remark.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar blasts Dave Portnoy for his Angel Reese criticism

The Bayou Barbie was aggressively criticised by Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy for her antics during the championship game. The 46-year-old responded to the contentious play by branding her a "classless piece of s**t." Kareem Abdul-Jabbar called out Portnoy for his odd reactivity to an apparently innocuous occurrence after it came to his knowledge.

THERE IS NOTHIG WRONG WITH A BIT OF TRASH TALK

In the midst of fierce rivalry, Abdul-Jabbar believed there was nothing wrong with a little trash talking. Only a week prior to Reese pulling it out of her bag, Clark was seen celebrating with a similar "You can't see me" gesture, he noted. The six-time winner did not think it was a "big deal." In addition, the Hall of Famer mentioned how Clark supported her opponent. Reese shouldn't be criticized for her behavior, the AP Player of the Year acknowledged.
