Gabrielle Union on finding peace in the ‘cruel truth’

The former AGT judge has lived for half a century and has gathered experiences that have shaped the person she is today. One thread that emerged from the various subjects she covered was her connection with embracing the truth.

Talking of how she is more comfortable with the truth rather than just lying to herself, Gabrielle revealed. “We lie to others to cover up our own bad behavior. We lie, we lie, we lie. But the bubble the lies create is unsustainable. And when it pops, everyone’s upset,” Union said while talking to The Washington Post.

Giving a unique example of how one can feel cruel about telling the truth Gabrielle stated, “If there’s like a booger, there’s that moment where you think, I should probably give them the truth, but it feels cruel.”

Gabrielle Union’s past with Infidelity

Today, Gabrielle Union and her husband Dwyane Wade are almost synonymous, but that wasn't always the case. Chris Howard, a former star for the Jacksonville Jaguars, was her husband. The two separated in 2006 after almost 5 years of marriage after Howard's adultery became public.
