The NBA postseason began on Tuesday with a matchup between the Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat. After winning, Trae Young and company are prepared to face the Boston Celtics in round one. The NBA legend Charles Barkley's fortunes, however, took a turn for the worst when he painfully lost a $1 billion wager to Shaquille O'Neal on live television. After the embarrassment, Shaq even made a funny motion to Chuck to rub it in his face.

BARKLEY's Poor BETTING TRACK RECORD

Barkley has a dismal track record of correctly predicting  game results. He recently predicted the winners of the Super Bowl and March Madness to lose. He chose the Heat to win the opening game of the Play-in tournament, further adding to his humiliation. 

Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley were back at it again

The Inside the NBA team discussed the result of the matchup during the pre-game analysis of the first play-in game. Charles Barkley boldly predicted that the Heat will triumph over the Hawks. Shaq continued the conversation by asking Chuck to place a bet. The staff was taken aback by his prompt response. Chuck's response was "Whatever you want to, a Billion dollars."

HAWKS CRUSH THE MIAMI HEAT

On Tuesday night, the Hawks handled the playoff pressure better than the Heat. The group kept a commanding advantage throughout the game and prevented the Heat from getting behind the defence. Dejounte Murray added 18 points in support of Trae Young's 25 points, which helped the team cross the finish line.
