After the LSU Tigers won, First Lady Jill Biden offered a proposal that the winners did not appreciate. The NCAA champions are the only ones who are customarily called to the White House. The Tigers star, however, was not ready to accept the FLOTUS' abrupt suggestion to make the adjustment.
What did Jill Biden say?
Jill Biden spoke to the audience at a gathering at the Colorado State Capitol after the NCAA tournament championships saying “So I know we’ll have the champions come to the White House, we always do. So, we hope LSU will come but, you know, I’m going to tell Joe [Biden] I think Iowa should come, too, because they played such a good game.”
LSU STAR's STONCH REPLY
Reese disclosed that the squad hasn't decided whether or not to visit the White House during the most recent episode of I Am Athlete. She had an astonishing answer when co-host Ashley Nicole Moss asked her how she felt about the entire situation.
“I just know if the roles were reversed, they wouldn’t be the same. If we were to lose, we would not be getting invited to the White House. " She Added, “We made a lot of phone calls and that’s why she wants to come out and apologize. But the same time, I’m not gonna lie to you, I don’t accept that apology because of, you said what you said. I mean, I said what I said. And like, you can’t go back on certain things that you say. You felt like they should’ve came because of sportsmanship. They can have that spotlight. We’ll go to the Obamas. Imma see Michelle, Imma see Barack.”
