50 Cent breaks his silence on the BET deal

When word of Paramount's plan to sell the well-known corporation spread, it was said that its shareholders had one objective in mind: to have African-American owners. That's precisely what the legendary Tyler Perry, 53, who put together an amazing collection of financiers to make a deal for BET, gave Paramount. 50 Cent and Shaquille O'Neal were two of the notable individuals present. According to reports, Perry was able to reach an agreement for $2 billion when Paramount chose to increase the asking price.

50 says it wasn't worth it

Now valued at $3 billion, Perry, Shaq and his team have opted out. In the meantime, Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent, has revealed the reason behind the failure. In an Instagram post, the 14-time Grammy nominee shared, “We will get them next time,” before claiming, “the sh*t wasn’t worth 3,000,000,000.”
