NBA WORLD BIDS FAREWELL TO THE MIAMI HEAT LEGEND

Shaquille O'Neal, LeBron James, Andre Iguodala, Dwane Wade, and other former Heat players conveyed their best wishes via video message. The NBA's three-time champion Udonis Haslem was mentioned by the stars, who also wished him well in his future endeavours. LeBron James famously remarked,“You’re the heartbeat man, of Miami man… To Be With You, To Fight With You… was a treat to me, man.”

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union pay tribute to Haslem

As a sign of respect for the legend, Wade and Union put up Haslem shirts on the side court. During a conversation with an interviewer, the Hall of Fame inductee added, "My brother, my daughter's god dad, just trying to enjoy his last ride."  After the game, Union posted the interview's footage and meaningful caption on her Instagram account. Wouldn't miss it for the world, it said in the caption. Congratulations @ud40 on an incredible career!!" Notably, Kaavia, Wade's daughter, also sat courtside with the  couple.

Wade & Haslem

For the Heat in 2003, Udonis Haslem and Wade participated in their first season. Haslem, on the other hand, enjoyed the benefit of playing for the same team his whole 20-season career. Haslem was Wade's partner for the majority of his playing time. The pair also has a particular bond outside of court. Wade told the legend in his letter, "Nothing was handed to you. My brother, everything was earned. Fans anticipate that the NBA will honour Haslem in the future. The NBA just recognised Wade as a Hall of Famer.
