Bubba Wallace makes the most sense here on many levels. He could be a direct five-race replacement for Kyle Busch behind the wheel of the “star car”, and it would benefit all parties involved.
John would actually leave Kyle Busch Motorsports and join Joe Gibbs Racing as a full-time driver for 2022, don’t be surprised to see Nemechek continue to progress up the Toyota ladder by running in at least five races for the team throughout the upcoming season.
Chandler Smith is set to return to Kyle Busch Motorsports for a second full season in the NASCAR Truck Series in 2022 after ending his rookie season on a high note.
If any indication of things to come, then Bell could continue to expand his role in the Xfinity Series, and he, like Bubba Wallace, could be a direct replacement for Kyle Busch in the Xfinity Series by competing in a handful of races per season in the “star car”.
