$200 Million Worth Aaron Rodgers’ Good Friend Finally Realizes 4x MVP Will Walk in the Shadows of Tom Brady and Peyton Manning After Historic Move to New York

Aaron Rodgers has finally found a team, as the New York Jets traded for him from the Packers after months of speculation. Earlier, he expressed his desire to play for the Jets on the Pat McAfee Show. Recently, McAfee compared his move to the Jets with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning’s legendary moves.

Rodgers’ move to the Jets

As per reports, the Jets will receive Rodgers along with 2023 pick No. 15 and a fifth-round pick. As for the Packers, they will get 2023 picks No. 13, No. 42, and No. 207. Also, a conditional 2024 second-round pick that converts to a 1st if Rodgers plays 65% of the plays.

Rodgers’ chapter ends with the Packers

Earlier on the McAfee Show, Rodgers said that his relationship with the Packers’ management went downhill after the last season. After playing 18 seasons with the Packers, he has won 4 MVP awards, 1 Super Bowl MVP, and of course, won the Super Bowl in 2011.

In the latest episode of the McAfee show, he said, “This is pretty legendary. Tom Brady, obviously the contract ends, ends up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Peyton Manning gets cut from the Indianapolis Colts, goes to the Denver Broncos. Matthew Stafford gets traded from Detroit to go over to the Rams. Russell Wilson gets traded from the Seahawks to the Broncos. So, it is common practice these days for our great quarterbacks to be on the move and go to a new team.”
