Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians can’t help himself from having his say on Tom Brady and the Buccaneers offense. But he did name-drop his former quarterback Tom Brady while discrediting some of his efforts for their offensive production.
Arians believe the Buccaneers OC will soon take over head coaching duties of an NFL franchise. Leftwich began his career as an offensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals but it was Arians who did bring him to Tampa Bay in 2019. He worked with then-Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston before working with Tom Brady after signing him in 2020.
Arians revealed there were contingency plans for if Brady was going to stay retired. Arians will now be taking up the post of a senior football consultant. His role involves helping all the branches of the team with anything they require.
