Prime Time Deion Sanders Gives a Striking Solution to NFL's Chronic Issue of Lesser Black Coaches Once and For All

Although it seemed personal, it’s really not. It was an outburst of anger with a system that seems to hardly give Black coaches a genuine shot at success. And while most coaches in the SWAC are fighting to have their talents seen, Sanders is on the wish list of several Power 5 schools.

Deion Sanders posted a video on Instagram and captioned

"ownership. If I'm gonna fight I want it to be a heavyweight fight not a bantamweight fight."

Deion Sanders added

"We should desire ownership so we can call our own shots instead of try to force a successful businessman to hire someone he doesn't want to hire."

Deion Sanders's conclusion

Jackson State coach Deion Sanders says historically Black college football programs can be a path the NFL for top recruits, but it is difficult to compete with the wealthier, traditional power schools.
