In October 2001, Tom Brady threw his first regular-season TD pass to Terry Glenn. Moreover, the Pats went on to win the game against the San Diego team back then 29-26. Almost a couple of years ago, the ball that was Brady’s first TD pass sold at an auction for $428,842.

The drama around Brady’s final TD pass

It is worth noting that Brady already announced his retirement back in 2022. Before that, in the Divisional Round playoff game vs. the Rams, he threw a 55-yard TD pass to WR Mike Evans, which he threw into the crowd. As Brady retired afterward, the anonymous person auctioned Brady’s final TD pass ball for more than $518,000. Unfortunately for the anonymous person, Brady came back to the NFL and played one more season. Hence, the sale of the ball was voided, as the ball was re-sold for just under $130,000.
