Tom Brady opens up about NFL retirement through an Instagram post

After Buccaneers got eliminated from this NFL season in the Playoffs, everybody wanted to know if Tom Brady would finally put an end to his brilliant career. There were rumors of teammates who revealed they felt this was Brady's last season as a player. But the star still refuses to be clear about his future.

What did Tom Brady say

"I understand that at this stage in my career, there is going to be interested in my future whenever a season ends, but this week, all that is on my mind is the gratitude I have for this team and the fans that have supported us all year long."

Tom Brady added

"This year has been incredibly rewarding personally and professionally and I am appreciative of everyone who worked their ass off to help our team achieve so much."

A message to Brady from Shannon Sharpe

“Tom, you said you wanted some time. Take some time, get with your family, get with your loved ones, think about what the future entails for Tom Brady. OK, stop with the bread crumbs. Stop with the bread crumbs now,”

Is this the end of Tom Brady's era

There's no doubt Brady has at least one more great season left in him and the Bucs' championship window isn't suddenly slammed shut, given they rose from NFC wild card risers to mighty No. 2 seed. But it's mostly up to him whether it will be kept wide open.
