Conor McGregor is a big name in the MMA industry, not just for his trash talks but also for his master moves. The Irishman rarely praises anybody but this time he praised and thanked his coach for intervening in his life when he was on his way to trouble.
McGregor has expressed his sheer respect and praise for his coach in the book ‘Win or Learn: MMA, Conor McGregor and Me: A trainer’s Journey’. The book is written by John Kavanagh whereas the forward has been written by MacGregor himself where he has acknowledged his coach's role in building and saving him.
John Kavanagh has written a book where he has shared his journey with Conor McGregor. The book is named, ‘Win or Learn: MMA, Conor McGregor and Me: A trainer’s Journey’. Both the Penguin Publication and GoodReads have great reviews about it.
McGregor wrote the foreword of the book which reflects how the Irishman respects his coach. McGregor wrote, "There was a time in my life when I was hanging out with the wrong people, getting up to no good, drifting away from the gym and down a dangerous path.”
Conor McGregor respects Kavanagh very much and has placed him very highly in his life because as per him Kavanagh saved his life. The Irishman expressed, "There was no onus on John to intervene, but he went out of his way to ensure that I didn’t go beyond the point of no return.”
