The bout will take place in July but the exact date is still unknown according to MMA reporter Ariel Helwani.

Holloway's injury


Holloway and Volkanovski previously prepared to have a third fight on March 05, 2022. But Holloway withdrew due to an injury. This would be his first bout after recovering from the injury. 

History of the two

This will be the duo's third fight against each other. Both of the bouts earlier were won by Volkanovski by unanimous and split decision respectively. Holloway must be willing to get his revenge.

First time in UFC history there's been a trilogy where all 3 fights were for a title with one side winning the first 2.

Volkanovski's height is 5' 6" (170cm) with a reach of 71" (180cm). Holloway, on the other hand is 5' 11" (180cm) tall with a reach of 69" (175cm).
