Joe Rogan has had a blast this year. From a huge Spotify backlash during the start of the year to leaving UFC and multiple beefs with the fighters and Hollywood's A-listers, the color commentator surely lived 2022 fully to its core.

Beef with Dwayne Johnson 

Rogan and Derek on the 'JRE' podcast talked about Dwayne Johnson and Chris Hemsworth's physiques. Rogan jokingly said, “The Rock should come clean right now. There’s not a f*cking chance in hell he’s clean, not a chance in hell as big as The Rock is at 50."

Beef with Conor McGregor 

The UFC color commentator made certain claims about McGregor passing a USADA drug test after seeing his dramatic body transformation. Rogan even blamed McGregor's inactivity for his past defeat against Dustin Poirier and his downfall. 

The Liver King Expose

Rogan with the fitness educator Derek from More Plates More Dates was on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast where the duo discussed Liver King's apology video that was issued after his steroid use was exposed for taking steroids.

Spotify Backlash

At the start of the year, people like Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, and other musicians pulled their music from Spotify to protest against the streamer’s relationship with Joe Rogan. The UFC color commentator was accused of using his platform to spread COVID-19 and vaccine misinformation. An open letter was signed by hundreds of doctors, scientists, and health experts who demanded a clear public policy to moderate misinformation on Spotify.

On Dana White's
Retirement 

In one of the episodes of 'The Joe Rogan Experience' podcast, the commentator spoke about his contract with the UFC and when he would decide to leave. Rogan during the podcast expressed that he would leave the company when the UFC president Dana White retires. He further expressed that he has agreed to it contractually.

Comments on Brittney
Griner

Rogan constantly kept discussing the arrest of the WNBA player Brittney Griner who was arrested and imprisoned in Russia. Rogan even shared his opinion on Harris's hypocrisy in her statement regarding the Brittney Griner case and how many Americans are still serving in prison for taking or if found with marijuana.

On Will Smith and Amber Heard

The UFC color commentator expressed his take on Will Smith slapping Chris Rock incident and said that Will should be behind the bars. Rogan likes to stay active on everything going around and gave his opinion on Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s court trial and said, “And psychologically, she's so damaged, she's so crazy. And I think the real punishment is it's been exposed to the world how insane she is. Like, she's insane, she's a liar.”
