Jorge Masvidal Reveals a Shocking Incident That Could Have Landed Him in Chinese Jail

Jorge Masvidal recently retired from MMA following his loss to Gilbert Burns at UFC 287. However, in a recent interview with Ariel Helwani on ‘The MMA Hour’, he revealed an interesting story of a brawl.

‘Gamebred’ was once got involved into a fight with three European individuals in China. Masvidal confronted that he was minding his business and waiting in line to wash his hand.

Masvidal said, “These guys are behind me and somebody picks up my chain with their fingers like that and turns to his friend and starts saying something in a language that I am not understanding.”

Instead of escalating the situation any further, ‘Gamebred’ proceeded to calm things down. But the group of guys didn’t seem to follow through and grabbed the ex-UFC star’s chain. 

Masvidal noticed through the reflection in the mirror about the vulgar gesture made by three guys toward him. He knew what would happen next as the ex-UFC star turned around.

Masvidal said, “… the guy got in my face and then there’s like a sleeping bomb that went off again.” He knocked all three of them out as they rushed towards him. Masvidal got into action when they got closer to him.

He said, “[I knocked] the f*** out. Him and his two buddies, they rushed me. The one dude that got in my face, I told him to get back. He didn’t understand me, he got closer, boom! Down.” Moreover, he claimed that the assailants were drunk when they got in his face.
