Former UFC welterweight champion registered a first round KO win over Niko Price. He expressed happiness over ending his ‘amazing career’ like that. He talked about his swift movements in the match and expressed gratitude to his supporters.

Former UFC welterweight champion commented at the end of the bout that he had planned to do something good. Later, in his own words, “Just happened to land some big bombs.” Further, he added, “It was good. It was just the ending of a career. I was landing some big shots in good places, temples, chin. It was just too much. I was moving well. It was just nice to end my career like this."


Born in California, Lawler as a 20 year old was the youngest to compete in the game in 2002. He became famous for his aggression and resilience in the cage. UFC has recently announced that the classic 2015 epic battle between welterweights Robbie Lawler and Rory MacDonald 2 shall be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame  as a part of the class of 2023.
