Training Schedule

There are no days off for the former UFC interim middleweight champion. He trains seven days a week in which there are 22 sessions. However, the hours can vary to as high as five or six hours or one, depending on the training intensity.

Striking

'The Reaper' does a lot of mitts workout and heavy bags inside the gym to improve his striking game before the fight.

Grappling

Whittaker is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and he puts in hours inside the gym to hone his grappling skills.

Strength and  Conditioning

'The Reaper' does a combination of both body weights and weighted exercises to improve strength and condition his muscles. 

Sparring

Sparring is a vital part of Whittaker's training routine, as it helps him to improve his mental and physical game before the fight.
