‘The Problem Child’ hails an undefeated professional boxing record under his name. He has competed in five bouts and has finished four of his opponents via a knockout. Interestingly, the 25-year-old has also won over a former UFC champion inside the boxing ring.

Hence, the Ohio native is itching for more fights against some of the elite fighters from UFC. However, ‘The Eagle’ believes it won’t be a piece of cake for Paul to compete inside an MMA cage.

In an episode of Full Send Podcast, Nurmagomedov said, “On boxing, he (Jake Paul) is like he knows how to punch, you know. He is not bad like in boxing game; you know. Anybody can box. You can box too. But you never can wrestle.”

“This is completely different, you know. And I think if he wants we can give him a chance, you know. We can sign him and you know, like we can pay him. And we will see.”

Apparently, the Russian fighter, who is working as a promoter for his MMA venture, Eagle FC has offered to sign the Ohio native. However, the latter wants to fight Nurmagomedov first. But the deal never came to fruition as the former UFC champion has retired from the sport and has often said he will never compete inside the Octagon again.

Khabib Nurmagomedov said ‘I am finished’ in response to Jake Paul’s callout

‘The Eagle’, after his last successful title defense in 2020, announced his retirement from professional fighting. However, many times, he has been offered hefty money to come out of retirement. But Nurmagomedov stands by his words.

Recently, ‘The Problem Child’ called out the former UFC champion for a fight. While responding to it in the same podcast, Nurmagomedov said, “There is a lot of challenges, even right now.”

“I have my own promotion. If somebody wants a challenge, I’m going to give you guys a good platform. Come and join with me in Eagle FC and I’m going to find you guys a good opponent and let’s go.”

‘The Eagle’ retired from the sport with a perfect record of 29-0. Also, he is currently giving all of his time and attention to his other businesses. Hence, he might never return to the octagon.
