Sean O’Malley and Ilia Topuria Get Into a Heated Exchange on Twitter (X)

Have a look at the new bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley engaging in a verbal spat with Ilia Topuria. O’Malley recently shot into prominence after his breathtaking victory over Aljamain Sterling at UFC 292. Though there are many contenders aiming to fight O’Malley for the title bout, Toporia also hinted about the same. After the defeat of The Korean Zombie at UFC Singapore, Topuria challenged Alexander Volkanovski and asked Sean O’Malley to move up the ranks to featherweight.

Sean O’Malley reacted to Ilia Topuria’s comments in these words, “I have risen. Your turn to rise up.”

In reply, Topuria wrote, "I respect these two @BlessedMMA and @KoreanZombieMMA, but it’s time for them to retire. @SugaSeanMMA, keep rising up, and maybe one day we’ll share the octagon and you @alexvolkanovski, get ready to tap out! The masterclass is coming for you."

After the verbal spat on Twitter, O’Malley wrote that he may consider fight against Topuria in the future. He wrote, “Get through Volk and I’ll decide.”
