The Hollywood actor has delivered some blockbuster flicks, some of which people watch and enjoy like they’re watching it for the first time. Tom Hardy is a person who brings dedication and hard work to whatever he does and that translates into his movies and recently, translated into BJJ as well.

A journey from Blue to Purple

Hardy has a number of gold medals that he earned by besting some really well-trained, professional BJJ fighters. His purple belt now ranks him amongst some of the sharpest and most well-trained celebrities who are experts in BJJ as well.

The 45-year-old shared a picture of his new belt on Instagram and the image was reposted by the company that customised it for him.

Winning story of Purple belt

Iron Belts captioned their post: “Congratulations to our idol Tom Hardy for promotion to purple stripe! Pride to the max!”

A belt promotion for Hardy means the next time he enters a BJJ tournament he will be facing much tougher opponents who proudly hold the same rank after years of training.
