Veteran UFC Official Rubbishes off Jake Paul’s Plan on a Fighter Unions While Asking for the Involvement of Conor McGregor and Jon Jones

John McCarthy recently discussed Jake Paul’s proposed union for UFC fighters on a solo episode of the podcast ‘Weighing In’. McCarthy shared his insights on the fighter mentality and the importance of securing major stars like Conor McGregor to make the union successful. 

McCarthy emphasized the self-centered nature of fighters, highlighting their focus on personal gain and the next fight. He explained how the union plans could gain traction. And how it would require the involvement of influential fighters who possess some power within the UFC.

“If you have a Conor McGregor, – huge name within the sport – that would have an impact in making the union. If you had a Jon Jones, that would have a huge impact.”, McCarthy said.

Recently, to the surprise of his fans, Jake Paul uploaded a video, revealing that he has bought a new car. What’s more is that it’s a new $421,000 Ferrari 296 GTB, after a year of waiting. He also shared the news on his Instagram, writing “new horse”.
