Our video tour will take you through every inch of this masterpiece and showcase the state-of-the-art equipment that makes it stand out from the crowd.

The Shure SM7B Vocal Dynamic Microphone is the cornerstone of Joe Rogan's Austin studio, and for good reason. It boasts a natural and warm sound with a flat, wide-range frequency response, perfect for both speech and music. Rejects electromagnetic hum, and an internal shockmount minimizes vibrations.

A mic arm allows quick mic adjustments and frees up desk space. JRE Austin studio used Gator Frameworks mic arm before switching to O.C. White Co.'s ProBoom Ultima.

During podcast recording, headphones allow audio monitoring and adjustments. Joe Rogan uses the budget-friendly Sennheiser HD280PRO with accurate sound, passive noise reduction, replaceable pads and cable, and comfortable design.

Headphones

A headphone amplifier lets multiple users adjust the volume of their headphones independently. The Behringer POWERPLAY HA8000 has eight sections with volume control, LED output meter, main input and mono/stereo switch. It has two headphone outputs per channel.

Young Jamie uses a Universal Audio Apollo FireWire Audio Interface, instead of the mixer's built-in USB audio interface, to connect to the computer. It allows for real-time processing with near-zero latency and reduces the computer's CPU load with its onboard quad-core processors.

Audio Interface

Joe Rogan upgraded his multi-camera production system in the new Austin studio with a Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio Pro HD Live Production Switcher, giving Young Jamie complete control over the video production with up to 8 inputs and illuminated color buttons.

Multi-Camera Production System

Four Canon VIXIA HF G40 Full HD Camcorders are mounted on tripods and connected to the Blackmagic Design ATEM Production Switcher for multi-angle video recording. They have 20x optical zoom and good low light performance.

Joe Rogan's custom-built desk by Wrightsmith Studios weighs 500lbs, made from white oak, and has microphone arms attached. Young Jamie uses a Jarvis Adjustable Desk for podcast production.
