Swimming GOAT Michael Phelps Applauds the Young Prodigy Who Broke the 200m LCM Record After 22 Years

Michael Phelps is the swimming GOAT who retired from swimming in 2016. However, the swimming legend has set many records many of which are yet unbreakable. Thomas Heilman: new lightning in the pool!

Recently on June 26, Thomas Heilman finished 200m LCM in 1:54.54 in the U.S. Swimming Championships held in Indianapolis, which is 1.98 seconds less than his record in the category.

The Swimming GOAT acknowledges the young lightning

Heilman broke the record of Michael Phelps in the 200m LCM which was four seconds more than Heilman to applaud which Phelps commented, "Good swim !!Lfg!!”.

Heilman was filled with joy and gratitude from Phelps' gesture as he said in his interview with NBC Sports, "It’s just amazing to be even mentioned in the same sentence as him.”
