Born into a family of surfers, João Chianca made waves in the surfing world ever since his debut in 2022. No.3 in the Championship as WSL headed to Brazil, the local Saquarema intended to pick up where he left off in Portugal. But J.Chianca lost to S. Pupo in the round of 16.
