24-Year-Old Katie Lamb Makes History With ‘Box Therapy’ Ascent to 10,396 ft

Katie Lamb, the renowned climber, created history by climbing a V16 with her fourth ascent of Box Therapy. Her unwavering passion for climbing started showcasing its results as a child. Since then, she has continued to break records and recently clinched the world record two years after her latest tour in 2021 to Bishop, California.

By climbing the Box Therapy in the fourth ascent, she became the first woman to achieve such height. As it is situated at an elevation of 3169 meters, it requires professional training to reach the peak. 

The history of Box Therapy

The Box Therapy nested at 10,500 feet elevation, was founded 15 years ago by Tommy Caldwell, who then established the Box Therapies stand start and spread Eagle or V11. 

Katie's previous records

Within these 24 years, she has already accumulated much as she conquered six V14s, including the Spectre, Jade, New Baseline, the Penrose Step, etc. She has proven herself as the epitome of physical fitness and inspiration through her efforts.
